Technical Standards
The Water Services Association of Australia has developed a suite of Code of Practices for the design and installation of water supply and sewerage assets.
However, because of differences in regional business practices it has not been possible for Queensland Urban Utilities to implement all aspects of the National Codes. Queensland Urban Utilities' requirements that are different from the National Codes are included in Supplementary Manuals. Queensland Urban Utilities' Supplementary Manuals together with the National Codes, form the Queensland Urban Utilities Water Supply and Sewerage Reticulation Standards.
The Supplementary Manuals can be downloaded free of charge. The drawings may be printed in either A4 or A3 format.
The Water Services Association of Australia National Codes can only be purchased from Water Services Association of Australia.
