Water efficiency management plan reporting program

Online Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP) reporting is required for businesses using 10 million litres of water or more annually, with a submitted or approved WEMP.
Your report includes WEMP implementation progress and requires:

  • WEMP implementation updates
  • planned and achieved quarterly water savings
  • sub-meter installation details; and
  • commercial activity details for the reporting period

The annual reporting period is November to October annually. Reports must be submitted within 20 working days after October's last business day. The 2011 annual report must be submitted by Monday 28 November.


Report submissions

Submit your report online for the current year using the process including:

  1. Login - use your user name and password that was sent to you by mail.
     
  2. My Details - the first time you log in annually, you will be required to complete your details.
     
  3. My Projects - add all projects that are specified in your WEMP action plan, including the project status, water-saving targets and achievements.
     
  4. My Sub-meters - add details of sub-meters installed since your last report was submitted.
     
  5. My Leaks - provide details about any significant leaks that have occurred.
     
  6. My CAU - record your business type and commercial activity details, including the commercial output for each quarter.
     
  7. Report summary - provides a report overview.
     
  8. Sign-off and submit - enter details of the person completing and the person authorising the report.
     
  9. Report confirmation - once the report is successfully submitted, you will be issued a receipt number. A confirmation email will be sent to the address that you recorded at My Details.
     

You can update your report during the reporting period. However, you can only submit your completed report from 1 October annually.


WEMP Report support

I don't remember my password

If you are accessing the online report for the first time, phone Queensland Urban Utilities on 13 26 57 to request reissue of your user name and password. If you have previously accessed your report, use the 'forgot password' function from the login screen. You will be asked for your user name. Your password will be sent to the nominated email address provided in your last report.
 

The system isn't recognising my password

The passwords are case sensitive. Ensure that the password you enter is in the correct case and be sure that characters such as 'o' and '0' are input correctly. The characters 'L', 'I' and '1' look similar on the page.
 

I cannot proceed to the next page

Ensure that all mandatory fields are completed, so you can proceed to the report's next page. These fields are indicated by an '*'. Error text will appear beside the incomplete fields. This means you must complete the necessary information.
 

I have completed my report but I cannot submit the report

You can update and save the annual report anytime during the reporting period. However, you can only submit the report after 1 October annually.


Cooling Tower Annual Reporting

Businesses operating a cooling tower that uses a significant proportion* of water are required to submit a completed WG-14 Cooling Tower Report Template. The reporting template is located on the Queensland Water Commission’s website.

The annual reporting period is November to October annually. Reports must be submitted within 20 working days after October's last business day. The 2011 annual report must be submitted by Monday 28 November.

*A significant proportion of water is defined as:

  • Greater than 15% and less than 85% of total water use for premises using greater than 50ML per year
  • Greater than 30% and less than 85% of total water use for premises using less than 50ML per year
