If you would like Queensland Urban Utilities to prepare your design plan, you will need to complete a sewerage connection application form.

Private consultant design requirements

If a private consultant prepares your design plans, you must still lodge these plans with Queensland Urban Utilities Design and Connection Unit for a connection price.

Plans prepared by a private consultant must be:
• approved and signed by Queensland Urban Utilities' Development and Regulatory Services
• lodged as three A1 size copies of the signed plans to Queensland Urban Utilities.

You must include all connection work that you would like quoted either on the plan or in a ‘request for work' submitted with your plan.

Once the approved plans have been lodged, Queensland Urban Utilities will provide a quote for the design of the connection.
