Water Hardness
Water is described as hard when it is difficult to make a lather or suds when washing.
Calcium and magnesium, which are common naturally occurring elements in water, causes hardness in drinking water.
Drinking water hardness is due to the source of the raw water (i.e. dam or river). Drinking water of this hardness may cause minor scaling problems inside hot water systems and kettles. Water Hardness can vary from day to day depending on where the water is sourced from.
