As a statutory authority we are required to implement a Public Interest Disclosure Program under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
Our Public Interest Disclosure Program details the procedures to be followed regarding disclosures in accordance with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 and relevant industry standards, codes of practice and guidelines.
Purpose of the program
- Promote the public interest by managing public interest disclosures of wrongdoing across the organisation.
- Ensure that public interest disclosures are properly assessed and, when appropriate, properly investigated and dealt with.
- Ensure that appropriate consideration is given to the interests of persons who are the subject of a public interest disclosure.
- Afford protection from reprisals to persons making public interest disclosures.
If you have any questions or queries about the Program or you would like to make a disclosure, you can contact the Privacy and Right to Information Officer via our enquiry form or by phoning 13 26 57 (7am-7pm weekdays).
